Thai Massage with Niss Bach
Niss Bach, creative director of the yoga forest. After continuing his studies with Thai massage and water treatments in Mexico, Laos and Thailand, Niss has returned back to his home in San Marcos with The Yoga Forest. Niss is a world traveler since the age of 20. Originally from Jerusalem, he has been exploring different communities and experiences in order to decide what kind of community he would like to be involved in and help create. He became involved with The Yoga Forest in 2011 and his investments of energy have helped create the beautiful Yoga Shala.
Niss is an artist. He began studying dance in high school and moved into Circus Arts in 2003, where he studied in Israel and Madrid. After 8 years of performing on stage, on the streets and in festivals, he fused his knowledge of movement into the healing arts of Thai Massage and Yoga Therapy. Niss has many gifts to share: he speaks four languages and is a dynamic problem solver within communities; he offers group forming camps and workshops as well as astrology readings.
Liquid Love (Oil Action) with Daniel Hayes
Liquid Love is a collective experience exploring the sensuality of flowing skin to skin contact using warm organic oil.
The concept is simple: we will pour warm, fine, neutral oil on to your skin, from where it will spread out over your whole body and form a lubricious substance, which allows you to float in a sea together with other oily bodies.
Everyone is invited to respect their own rhythm and limits to touch and nudity.
We invite you to move and allow yourself to be moved without intentions or sexual orientation. Releasing our usual desire to take action on erotic sensations and thoughts we invite you to be present with them and to relax into the energetic flow of the bodies around you. This is a place where you can love and be loved in an impersonal and unbound manner and above all a place to super charge your soul.
Daniel Hayes is a Medical Doctor, public health scientist, eco-anarchist and practical idealist. He’s been playing, dancing, meditating and conversing CI for over a decade and actively sharing his curiosity and knowledge and doubts for the past eight years.. He is the founder of the Touch&Play Project, which explores the edges of Contact Improvisation by inviting our (al)chemical bodies into the dance. Through artistic and academic research he hopes to highlight the potential of CI as a tool to create authentic connections with oneself and the other by bringing it into play, communication, BDSM, therapy, education, sexuality, somatic mindfulness and more.
Contact Improvisation Lab with Andrea Scheel
The Contact Improvisation workshop is intentioned as a laboratory for creating a space for intimacy, delicacy and firmness through touch and play. How does a single glance, a slight touch, skin-to-skin contact awakens senses we have as electric, sensual and emotional beings? How do stories unveil through contact? How am (I) attracted to others, repelled, invited, rejected… more subtle spheres of existence come to play on the contact playground.
Andrea is a body-mind explorer, contact improv dancer and water being who likes sharing through collective experiences for creation and healing. Trained in contemporary dance and naturopathy, she has immersed herself in the artistic and healing paths both converging in energy works. Along with Tantra and water trips, she has been co creating several workshops and laboratories with Contact improvisation principles as tools for playing. She also co creates the Liquid Flow Festival at Bacalar, Mexico.
